Set up your company
A first-day checklist that gets Fylder ready for real work in under an hour.
Do these once, in this order. Each step links to a full guide.
Check your company details and time zone
Go to Settings → Company. Fill in your company's contact details and address, and check the time zone. Everyone on your team sees dates and times in this zone, whatever zone their phone is in.
Set your default tax rate and payment terms (how many days clients have to pay an invoice).
Add your services and materials to the catalog
Every line on a quote, job or invoice comes from your Catalog. Add the services you sell (labour, visits, packages) and the materials you use, with a sell price and, ideally, your cost so Fylder can show your margin.
Already have a price list in a spreadsheet? Import it.
Bring in your clients
Add clients one at a time with Create → Client, or import them all from a CSV or Excel file exported from your old system.
Invite your team
Go to Settings → Users & logins and invite the people who need to sign in. Pick a role for each one: admin, member or viewer.
Crew who don't sign in can still be listed in your Organization directory and assigned to project tasks.
Track stock (optional)
If you keep materials on hand, such as wire, pipe or fittings, turn on stock tracking for those catalog items and enter what you have. Crews can then log what they use on each job from their phones.
Run your first job through
Create a request or a quote for a real client and follow the next step button all the way to payment. How work flows through Fylder explains each step.
